Myrciaria dubia also known as, Camu Camu; is a small (approx. 3-5 m tall) bushy river side tree from the Amazon Rainforest, which produces a red/purple cherry like fruit.

The fruit of Camu Camu contain 80% Vitamin C, which compared to standard fruit has the highest concentration. Camu Camu is high in anti-oxidants and minerals which has been used for treating the common cold, flu, depression, skin conditions and unhealthy hair. Recently the fruit has been used to detox from pharmaceutical antidepressants as Camu Camu has the ability to flush these harmful substances out of the body.

Recommended usage is 1/2 teaspoon 2-4 times per day.
