Originating in South America the use of Calea Zacatechichi (Dream Herb) goes back into history. Calea Zacatechichi has been used by the Chontal Indians for dreams divination. Research into this plant has shown that compared to diazepam the extract of dream herb increase the frequency and recollection of dreams.
This can benefit practitioners of lucid dreaming and out of body experience profoundly.
(We highly recommend researching Robert Monroe's OBE techniques and Lucid Dreaming, if you haven't done so already.)
The chontal medicine men call the plant Thel-Pela-Kano (leaf of god). The traditional way of preparing Calea Zacatechichi is to crush a handful of the dried leaf and add to hot or warm water to create a tea.
The usual dosages for Calea Zacatechichi is 500mg-12.5 grams, half an hour before bedtime. It has also been stated that by smoking a portion of the herb it helps to enhance the herbs effects.
